Hair and Makeup Artist
Professional hair and makeup services can be added to your session if desired. Because these services require coordination with the artist as well as additional studio time, please contact the studio before booking your session so we can discuss availability, fees, timing, and create a custom booking arrangement.

Prices for in-studio hair and makeup generally start at approximately $250, depending on the artist selected.

If you prefer to arrive already styled, or do your own makeup, I recommend a light, natural look. Whenever possible, avoid products containing sunscreen or zinc, as these can appear differently under studio lighting than they do in natural light.

I generally make the following recommendations regarding hair and makeup for headshots:

1. I highly recommend considering doing your own hair and makeup for headshots. A makeup station and private dressing room are available for your convenience. Again, target a light and natural appearance. Retouching will generally address temporary blemishes, wrinkles, under-eye circles, etc. The goal is usually to look like yourself on a very good day, rather than dramatically different. Consider bringing a hairbrush and any products you normally use to help minimize flyaway hair and similar issues before photographing.

2. If you strongly prefer professional makeup, consider scheduling an appointment at your favorite MAC counter before your session. Let them know you are going to a professional photo shoot so they use makeup appropriate for studio lighting, and let them know that you prefer a light and natural look.

3. A third option is to select an independent hair and makeup artist whose style appeals to you, then coordinate timing with both the artist and the studio so sufficient preparation time is available before your session. A makeup station is available in the private dressing room for artist setup and preparation.

4. If you would like recommendations for local artists, feel free to contact the studio. However, it is generally best to select an artist whose style and aesthetic already appeal to you personally.

Additional Images
Each session package includes your first headshot image at no additional charge. Additional images can be purchased for $120 each, and all selected images include standard retouching at no extra cost.

Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy

We understand that life and work schedules can sometimes be unpredictable, and we strive to remain flexible whenever possible. However, repeated rescheduling or cancellations can significantly impact studio scheduling and availability for other clients.

Appointments may be rescheduled online once at no charge, provided the change is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session or due to illness. Additional rescheduling requests may require studio approval and may be subject to a rescheduling fee.

To ensure fair access to limited appointment times, the studio reserves the right to limit or decline additional rescheduling requests. In cases of repeated cancellations, no-shows, or excessive rescheduling, the studio may, at its sole discretion, cancel the appointment, retain any applicable fees or deposits in accordance with the booking terms, and release the reserved appointment time rather than continue to hold future appointments.

The studio further reserves the right to decline future bookings from clients who repeatedly cancel, fail to attend scheduled appointments, repeatedly reschedule appointments, engage in abusive behavior, or otherwise interfere with the efficient operation of the studio.

This policy is intended to ensure that appointment availability remains fair and accessible to all clients while allowing the studio to operate efficiently and provide the highest level of service.

Limitation of Liability

While the studio makes every reasonable effort to provide a smooth and professional experience, the studio's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to services provided shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the client for the session or services giving rise to the claim.

Absent a separate written agreement signed by the studio, the studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or business-related damages, including but not limited to missed deadlines, lost business opportunities, lost profits, lost income, reputational harm, printing costs, travel expenses, substitute services, or similar claims arising from delays, scheduling issues, technical failures, equipment malfunctions, acts of nature, or dissatisfaction with photographic results.

By booking a session, the client acknowledges and agrees to these limitations.

Satisfaction Guarantee

For first-time clients booking a Professional Headshot Session or Deluxe Portrait Session, Executive Lens offers a satisfaction guarantee. If, during your session, you feel that the images being created are not meeting your expectations, you may choose to discontinue the session and receive a full refund of any session fees paid.

This guarantee is intended to remove the risk of investing in professional photography and applies only to the quality and suitability of the photographic results produced during the session.

The guarantee does not apply to circumstances outside the studio's control, including but not limited to missed appointments, late arrivals, scheduling conflicts, changes in personal preference after the session, inability to use the images for a particular purpose, travel expenses, third-party costs, or other matters unrelated to the quality of the photography itself.

To be eligible for a refund under this guarantee, the request must be made during the session and before any images are selected, purchased, downloaded, delivered, or retouched. Once images have been selected, purchased, delivered, or retouched, the satisfaction guarantee is no longer available.
