Directions to the Milwaukie Studio

The studio is located on Main Street alongside Henley Place Apartments (which is at 10306 SE Main Street) in downtown Milwaukie, near Milwaukie City Hall—about five miles south of downtown Portland, near Highway 99E and Highway 224.
From I-205:
Take Exit 13, then follow signs to Milwaukie via Highway 224.
Getting to the Studio
For Google Maps or other navigation apps, enter:

Please be sure to include the ZIP code, as there is more than one “Main Street” in the Portland Metropolitan area.
The entrance to the studio is at ground level, but it may not be immediately visible from Main Street because of a parking lot fence.
After you park walk toward the driveway to Henley Place Apartments. From the driveway, continue walking away from Main Street and toward the apartment building. You will see a large 10306 above the garage door for the apartment building.
As you approach the 10306 sign, look to your left. The studio entrance is three doors to the left of the garage door and is clearly marked 10302 above the door.
Parking
Free street parking is widely available.
Free public parking lots are also available along Main Street. I suggest the large public lot located between Main Street and the Henley Place Apartment building.
Important:
Please access the public parking lot from Main Street, not from the driveway that serves the studio and the adjacent Henley Place Apartments. The apartment parking lot does not have public parking.
Locals may recognize this lot as the former site of Pietro’s Pizza, which has since been demolished.
🚫 Please do not park in the spaces along the apartment entrance driveway. These spaces are reserved.
The best place to park is often the large light-blue area shown on the Milwaukie parking map:

This lot is very close to the studio, offers four-hour free parking, and is located between the studio and Main Street. Be sure to enter this free lot from Main Street to avoid the reserved parking areas for Henley Place Apartments.
Weather
This is Oregon, so please plan for rain so your look stays dry during the short walk from parking to the studio.
A Note About the Grass
Please stay on the paved walkways in front of the building and avoid stepping on the grass. The grass can sometimes collect dog waste, some of which may not be immediately visible.
Arrival Timing
As a courtesy to the session before yours, please arrive on time rather than early.
If you do arrive a bit early, the following nearby spots are comfortable places to wait and are only about 2–3 minutes away on foot:

A Few Helpful Notes Before Your Session
A private dressing room and restroom are available.
Cell phone reception inside the studio is limited.
If the subject is a minor, a parent or legal guardian should be present.
You are welcome to bring someone with you; please let the photographer know in advance. Most subjects find they are more relaxed and photograph best when attending on their own.
